<div class="newsbody dtext-container"><div class="styled-dtext"><h2>Site Maintenance: Wednesday, April 12</h2><p>Starting at 8:00AM GMT-7 (3:00PM UTC) the site will be going down for scheduled maintenance. We are upgrading our redis and image servers to Ubuntu 20.<br>Sorry about the somewhat frequent maintenance lately. This should be the last (planned) one for a while. After this all our servers will be running Ubuntu 20.</p><p><strong>Mar 20th:</strong> [Closed] We're looking for some volunteers to help tackle the ever growing workload of the site! If you're interested in maybe offering a hand have a look at <a rel="nofollow" class="dtext-link" href="/forum_topics/37771">this thread</a> for the details. Thank you!</p><p><strong>Mar 17th:</strong> New <a rel="nofollow" class="dtext-link" href="/wiki_pages/1638">Code of Conduct</a> is now live! Changes are too numerous to really list here, but the gist is basically we entirely rewrote it to make it shorter and clearer, while not changing much. For basic information about tags, what they are, and how to use them, see the tag help page.<br>These tags and syntaxes are used to search for posts.</p><p> </p><h4><a rel="nofollow" class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link" href="#top">↑</a> Basics <a id="basics"></a></h4><p><strong>cat dog</strong><br> Search for posts that are tagged with both <span class="dtext-color-species">cat</span> and <span class="dtext-color-species">dog</span>. Tags are separated by spaces.</p><p><strong>red_panda african_wild_dog</strong><br>Words within each tag are separated by underscores.</p><p><strong>~cat ~dog</strong><br>Search for posts that are tagged either <span class="dtext-color-species">cat</span> or <span class="dtext-color-species">dog</span> (or both). May not work well when combined with other syntaxes.</p><p><strong>-chicken</strong><br>Search for posts that don't have the <span class="dtext-color-species">chicken</span> tag.</p><p><strong>fox -chicken</strong><br>Search for posts that are tagged with <span class="dtext-color-species">fox</span> and are not tagged with <span class="dtext-color-species">chicken</span>.</p><p><strong>african_*</strong><br>Search for posts with any tag that starts with <span class="inline-code">african_</span>, such as <span class="dtext-color-species">african_wild_dog</span> or <span class="dtext-color-species">african_golden_cat</span>.
