ec5bd90916 Use the nice new find_real_root_device function to find the 
name of the root device, instead of having libc read whatever
lies happen to be in /etc/mtab.

0d068a2067 * all mallocs now use xmalloc (and so are OOM error safe), and 
the common error handling saves a few bytes.  Thanks to
Bob Tinsley <bob@earthrise.demon.co.uk> for the patch.

08c965a0a1 - I suspect the problem has something to do w/ symlinks. 
- It's not completely in agreement w/ GNU/du, but
+ the answer is much closer than before.
- Some of the right-shifts seem to have mysteriously disappeared.
  I put them back in.

0881de706e The latest and greatest. init basically works, though needs 
a minor inittab design change to accomodate specifying the device
to run each process on.

7dc160721e Bunches of fixes. Typos, bugs, etc.

1266a13e1f * sed now supports addresses (numeric or regexp, with negation) and 
has an append command, thanks to Marco Pantaleoni <panta@prosa.it>
* Fixed dmesg.  It wasn't parsing its options (-n or -s) properly.
* Some cosmetic fixes to ls output formatting to make it behave more
    like GNU ls.

4d1d0113fd Reworked the source so it will compile and run under glibc 2.0.7 
and linux kernel 2.0.36 (though the dubious reasons why someone
would want to do that defy imagination ;)
